For many growing companies, developing or buying software and hardware technology to meet strategic business goals, can be an exciting and equally terrifying time.   I have had the "good fortune" to play different roles in a variety of Stategic System implementations. 

As Head Coach for Information Systems at Team Tires Plus, I championed and implemented an Enterprise Systems re-engineering solution to facilitate anticipated rapid growth of the Company.  After months of assessing needs and options, we settled on a solution consisting of

  • PeopleSoft General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Warehouse
  • Frame Relay wide area network (WAN)
  • WinFrame Workstations in Retail Outlets
  • Negotiation of Hardware, Software, Service and Consulting contracts.
RESULTS:  Critical enabler allowing the organization to grow from $50 million/year, with 50 stores in four states, to over $100 million / year, with 120 stores in 8 states inside of four years.
