
Software logic errors can often go unnoticed for long periods of time.
As
a consultant, at the request of the CFO, I reviewed and analyzed the
functionality of the company's purchased software commissioning
programs. Bottom line, in certain situations, sales reps were being
double paid for sales. I met with the CFO and IT Director, presented
my findings, sample transactions and recommended solution which we
implemented.
RESULTS: Eliminated commission overpayments estimated at over $250,000 annually.
